Save even more time with multiple checks at once

From now on, checking people one at a time is a thing of the past! With the arrival of the serial check, you can now check a CSV file with just a few clicks of a button, saving even more time.

To be able to use the serial check, the user needs the data of the persons/companies to be checked in the form of a CSF file. The user can then simply upload this file into the SCOPE CDD On Demand software, following which the persons and/or companies are consecutively checked. If a result is shown stating that the person or the company has (possibly) been found, the user can deal with this check while the remainder of the file is automatically checked further.

How does it work?

The user has the option of checking either existing (previously checked) relations or a list with new relations. Checking a list with new relations is made as simple and universal as possible by accepting:

• Files (CSV, txt)
• Data copied from e.g. Excel.

The data can be an export from an existing system, and does not have to be specifically tailored to CDD On Demand. The only requirements for the data are:

Persons

• Last name in a separate column;
• First name (optional);
• Date of birth (optional);

Companies

• Company name in a separate column;
• Company address fields (optional).

Prior to running the batch, an estimate of the costs is shown. The batch processing checks the persons/companies one at a time, and the results are shown immediately. The batch processing runs in the background; in case of large numbers, the user can just close the page and view the results at a later time

Please note: because of the complexity and the supply of large amounts of data, this part is not suited for mobile devices and is therefore not shown on screens smaller than iPad size

Which checks are carried out?

During the check of persons and/or companies, several items are checked:

• Whether this person has been declared incompetent as a director or whether a company has an incapacitated director
• Whether your client is found in lists of law enforcement agencies
• Whether there is negative publicity about this person or company
• Whether this person or company is considered a politically exposed person (PEP)
• Whether sanctions are or were in force against this person or company at any time
• Whether this person or company is under the supervision of a financial regulatory authority

Time saving

Without using the software for the various checks, you will spend 10 minutes on average carrying out the checks on persons and companies for a customer due diligence, whereas using CDD On Demand this takes 2 minutes on average, which means 80% time saved! By using the serial check, this process is accelerated even more, so you will only spend 30 seconds on average on each check. While SCOPE CDD On Demand checks the customers for, among other things, PEP and sanctions lists, you can spend your time on the provision of services for the customer. Besides, in case of any inspection by, for example, the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets AFM, you will have an authenticated report available with the steps that have been taken for the customer due diligence. Better be safe than sorry!
